Most Underrated TV Show???
Only current TV shows please.
I would have to say Third Watch. I never see a thread in here about that show, nor do I hear much acclaim for this show, but it is one of the quickest hours on TV. It has an amazing cast, and the storylines and action sequences are top notch.

Well, it depends on what you guys mean by underrated. Do you mean that the ratings are low but the show is of quality? Or do you mean that people are just simply not talking about it that much?
I ask because "My Wife and Kids" gets amazingly good ratings, and it's on twice this week. And, I think it was the same last week. It's doing so well they showed an episode that lasted a full hour three weeks ago.
On the flip side of this idea, I'd say "24" is very underrated in that the show is very good, yet the ratings are poor even with all the acclaim from critics.

I'm not quite sure what you mean buy underrated either. Do you mean shows you like that no one else does or quality, I mean too each their own but Third Watch is about as typical & stereo typically cliched show as there can be, unless it has changed since the first season it brings nothing new to the genre.
I'd have to go with Farscape it's such a tourgh genre to do something with yet it almost completely reinvents the wheel when it comes to Sci-fi TV & constantely comes up with new ways to stay fresh. Yet most people never have heard of it.

2nd Once and Again
This shows has consistently been one of the best written and acted shows on TV for the past three years and except for the critics and a scant few million people a week, no one watches. Sadly, time has caught up with this series and it may be done.

I love According to Jim. I never hear that show mentioned anywhere. And I'm extremely happy that it's been picked up for a second season. I just hope it doesn't end up like last seasons "hit" What About Joan.

To Clarify
To clarify my original post, I meant underrated in the sense that no one talks much about it. On these boards, entertainment websites, magazines, everyday conversation, etc. I guess a show that has very bad ratings, but you feel is worthy is also underrated.
