C.S.I. (2/28/02) [spoilers]
Any thought's on last night's episode of C.S.I.? As usual, I thought it was another good episode. It was nice to see that it ended with a more "personal" relationship between Warrick and Nick. I am wondering what to make of Grissom's "beautiful" remark to Sara? Not sure where they're gonna go with that.

I hate my f-ing TIVO, it said there was gonna be a college basketball game and that CSI would be delayed till morning. So what happens? At a little before 9:00 I happen by CBS and what show is about is about to end? CSI of course, that really pissed me off.

Uhm... Didnt Sara put in a request to "leave" on the last show??? Nothing was said about it this episode, was there? So she isn't going anywhere? Her flowers from Grissom was enough to make her stay?

I thought it was pretty average. I guess I just can't get into this show. Every time I watch it, it's mostly background noise. It doesn't really interest me that much. Unfortunately, Thursday night is a barren wasteland of television, so I end up watching it. I didn't think it was bad ... just average.

I liked last night's CSI as I normally do, but...........sometimes I find myself wondering in how many real cases would they have a full crime scene team like that go through so much?
Like with the dead hockey player. If that really happened, a guy drops dead playing hockey. Do you think they would have CSI's going over every inch of the whole rink picking up little scraps of whatever.
If you really looked that closely to the ice on a rink like that, do you know how much little bits of crap you would probably come up with?
Plus, to put up heaters and melt all that ice just to maybe find a little piece of tooth.
Do you know how much it would cost a county or town to tie up investigator's to that extent.
I don't know, it just seems like I have to suspend disbelief more and more each week to watch the show.

You would think most people would write it off as tragic accident. I'm surprised they even did an autopsy on him.
It seemed like they had to dig hard to find evidence of any crime.

I also wonder why they send the CSI team to investigate what looks like an accident. I mean it's a terrible thing for a hockey player to die on the ice, but why would anyone think it was anything but a terrible accident?
I tell ya though, I almost blew chunks when Grissom started to pick up that hockey chick's fresh puke...Gahhh!
However, with that said, I'm still a big fan of the show and try not to ever miss an episode.
Grissom and Sara seem to be heading towards some sort of relationship, I always though Grissom and Catherine would end up together.

I have always wondered about the relationship between
Grissom & Sara. As Grissom brought Sara in from Frisco.
(this was mentioned in the 1st ep)
So I wonder if they had a thing or not back then.
Also melting that ice with all those electric heaters.
Kind of asking for a major short circuit when the ice melts.
How about one of them gas heaters that they use on
the sidelines of sporting events and such. But whatever...
This ep was ok. But the above coments being a Hockey
player are right on. Plus this is in the desert & vegas.
Now if it was the high North where Hockey is king.
Then yes I could understand all the time investigating.

This was my first time watching a full episode and I thought it was average. I thought there was too much going on with only an hour to setup, work through and wrap up. Why two investigations? It was too much material to cover in an hour.

I started watching CSI because it was on after Survivor. Go figure.
Last Thursdays episode was, IMHO, was just OK. Nothing special. The "B" story about the dead club player was better than the "A" story about the dead ice hocky player.
A few weeks ago, CSI had an excellent episode with Catherine being "kidnapped", and had a nice, surprise twist at the end.
One thing I notice is how more imperfect the CSI team is than most police officers are. I think, back in the pilot episode, they got referred to as the "nerd squad." Hmmmm....

I was also curious as to why they had to call in the CSI team to the hockey rink death, esp as there had to have been a lot of witnesses to the guy dying. but I guess they would never have found the doctor then.
Some people are so stoopid, like the dr who thinks he can get away with killing the guy the girl he likes is sleeping with.
Come on man there are other women out there.
The grissom sara angle will be interesting to see how it pans out, grissom annoys the hell out of me, and I think Sara could do much better.
I was kind of hoping she would be moving to Dade County for the new CSI: Miami Dade.
