Did you see the evil look on charlie's face after C.J. ask how long she had to be his b*tch? I tell ya he's got a mean streak a mile long.

Pretty good episode all together. The C.J./Charlie dispute was funny all the way through. I liked the chess plot device as well.

Next week looks like
Spoiler:
Mrs. Bartlett is going to drop some sort of bombshell
I can't wait to see what it is (or if I'm even guessing right.)

I loved the chess angle. It was especially ironic because I was teaching my mom how to play yesterday. Still, I think Bartlett would wipe the board with me I'm terrible! I bet even Sam Seaborne could beat me

Do you think 4 years from now we'll see a new series - West Wing II, with President Sam Seaborne? (timeline - approx. 10 years after the Bartlet administration, and after Seaborne has been a Democractic congressman from whatever his home state is.)

That remark by Bartlett about Sam certainly came out of left field. I never really pictured Seaborne as presidential material; Josh Lyman, on the other hand could do it, I think. Although Sam's Johnny Carson-like powers of clairvoyance would certainly be a big help

That would prove to be an interesting campaign considering that Sam had a sexual relationship with a women he knew to be a prostitute.

i could see sam as president but not josh. while i would love to see josh as prez, he would make too many people mad to get elected.

Actually that scene between Sam and the prez was my favorite part of the episode. True, it came out of left field, but it was "nice."

I see Sam as more or the presidential type than Josh, I mean, Josh pisses off a few people every episode.
Sam is really an idealist, we've seen that over and over again. I think his ability to be easily convinced of the conservative side by Ainsley would seriously dampen his abilities though.....but I imagine she could do that to all of our "abilities"
