My stupid VCR stopped right after Connie told Andy that she loved him and Theo. So what happened afterwards?

Actually, NYPD ran for 62 minutes last night. Philly started at like 10:03 and was only 57 minutes. Very strange.

Anyway, Andy told Connie that she should be looking for a guy her age that she could settle down and have kids with. She then told him that wasn't an issue because she is unable to bear any more children (as a result of pregnancy complications when she was a teenager). He then says to her that the relationship must be more about her spending time with Theo.

I think that is where it ended.

Argh, I hate it when networks pull crap like this and don't tell you. And here I was blaming my VCR. I am apologizing to it as I write this.

But yay! Andy has a girl again!

Yeah, it was very strange. Perhaps it's an attempt to get viewers to watch Philly? Philly's such a great show, it's a shame no one is watching it. Luckily I TiVo'd both, so I caught the end of Blue without any problem.

I just love how Andy's character can both evolve and devolve at the same time.

You're right. I can't picture the first-season Andy giving advice to another guy about his male lover. If I were Connie, I would run far away from Sipo-Jinx. His son gets killed, his wife gets killed, his first partner gets thrown off the force, the next one dies, the next one dies, and his present partner's father hates his guts.

Speaking of relationships, I'm happy to see that Greg and Baldwin finally made up. Hey, what the hell ever happened to Greg's ex-wife and kids? Or for that matter, Abby the lesbian cop he helped get pregnant? A couple of week's ago, he actually mentioned Donna... ah Gail O'Grady, where have you gone? Not that I don't enjoy "Gay John's" weekly antics.
