I had to make my picks Wednesday... Now I am never going to catch you guys..

It's still somewhat early in the season so who knows what'll happen. Besides, you can still help our alliance in the rankings.

I know how you feel, Cheddar, I was also on a plane, in another country... made my picks blindly. Dammit! I actually liked Gabe.

As of right now, here's my voting for this week:

Mark Burnett featured Rotu arguing in the previews which leads me to believe that that's just a swerve to make us believe that that Rob or John will booted off. Gina will probably go since she's the odd one out in Maraamu now (again). I hope I'm wrong because she's really starting to grow on me.

Gina that sucks, she is one of the few people left that I like. I will definately have to check back later today so I don't miss a last minute switch.

What's up with the booting of all of the young, beautiful people this time around? Sheesh. Hunter (not exactly young, but hey), Sarah, Gabe.... and after tonight, possibly Gina. It's tragic.

Here's my guesses for this week:

Not Off: Neleh
Immunity: Rob

The whole thing banks on Rob winning immunity. If he doesn't win then I'm pretty sure that he'd be gone. I feel pretty good about him getting immunity since he just tore through the reward challenge last week. Kathy will get the boot since she's annoyed people before. Hopefully, I can make this 3 weeks in a row with the correct picks.

If the immunity challenge is mental rob is done for.... I think I will go with your predictions...

I don't know about you guys, but Rob is still my favourite player by far. Not favourite to win the game, but definitely the most entertaining: "I gave the key to dumb and dumber and they lost the challenge". That's a classic like many others.

As for tonight's picks, this is where it starts to get ugly, as guessing the IC winner is also becoming quite hard.

Currently my votes are similar to dancinns, but it looks more and more like Rob will be the one to go, as the previews seemed to focus their attention on Kathy which is the usual distraction technique that EPM uses to shift the attention from the real victim. Also, Rob's story is pretty much told and can be ended anytime now. Furthermore, traditionally the merge IC is more of an endurance competition which is something women usually excell at (I'm thinking Zoe more than Kathy).

Anyway, I'll get back later with my final votes.

I can't get too much credit for my position, other than being able to weave through the various info that's been posted on the boards and trusting the better guys.

As for crossing fingers I'm not sure what to do now... I want to stay ahead in the deadpool, but I surely don't want Rob to be gone. There was a very recent idea that Zoe would go following Rob's convincing the other 3 guys about the 4 alliance... I'm watching now the show and I still don't know what's going to happen... I hope it's not Zoe though 'cause I'll get negative points then! I picked her to win immunity

Another episode is nearly upon us...what is the general consensus?

It's got to be about time for Kathy to go, or possibly Sean after his blow-out with John. The not-off picks are still slam dunks...

The info I collected seems to be that this is the result from episode 8:

Off: John
IC: Tammy
Not Off: ? (my pick: Vecepia)

Those are my picks...for now.

Tammy is shown in the previews with the Immunity necklace around her neck. Could be from a future episode, but the general consensus is that she wins IC. Most people also believe she won't give up the necklace... (although a major player, believes she will). Anyway this is irelevant.

John is the clear favourite to get the boot. Don't ask why... It's a sum of various small things. The most important "spoiler" information that we have yet to see in play is how religion will strongly affect the voting. This leads towards a N/P/S/V alliance together with quite possibly Tammy. Tammy/Gabe/Neleh looked close in the beginning so that is not entirely out of the question.

Unless I get a copy of the episode that will show me sthg else my votes are:

IC: Tammy
Stay: Sean
Boot: John

Oh, yeah - the winner looks like it will be

No, I didn't get a copy of the episode and I didn't change my votes, but in order to be complete I have to mention that there is a significant trend that sees John as the ultimate winner, nevermind him being booted tonight. This line of thought is based on the expected similarity between S1 and S4, similarity that was even mentioned in the initial previews when S4 was said to be "a return to S1". This may mean only that they go back to an island, but there are a LOT more similarities between the two shows. One example of such reasoning can be found here .

Of course all these are speculations, so should be taken for what they're worth.
