What's your favorite "Saved by the Bell" episode?

Man, do I love this show. I watch every morning while getting ready for work. (Crazy, since I used to watch it every afternoon in high school).

There's gotta be some people that like it -- or else TBS wouldn't be shelling out the money for syndication (albeit at a terrible time of the day).

I think my favorite episode is: the one where Jessie does her pills and then screams/sings "I'm so excited...I'm so excited...I'm so ... scared!" Truly dramatic television at its best!

I like the one where it is 'cut day' but Zach gets detention. He bets Slater than he can meet him at all the hangouts. This is particularly good since we get to Kelly on the beach.

The one where Zach and Slater fight over the new girl is one of my favorites as well.

I can't believe that I actually remember these episodes.

The one where they have the dream sequence of being in the "Zack Attack" band.

The one where they do the pretend families for class and Zack is married to Kelly and Screech is their son.

The one where Kelly can't afford her dress for the prom and her and Zack end up dancing outside.

Plus the college years one when Zack finally pops the question.

Saved By The Bell/SBTB: The College Years are the best. I can watch all the eps over and over again. I too catch them in the mornings when I can even though I have all the eps on tape.

Oddly enough, I don't even know when these shows were in actual production. Late 80's/early 90's ?

Also, what happened here: did Kelly go to do some model thing, which then brought in the motorcycle chick as her replacement? But wasn't Jessie also gone??? I always felt there was like a 2-year gap in the story -- maybe I just haven't caught ALL the episodes (which I vehemently refuse to believe, as I am a SBTB geek).

Originally there was no Slater, Kelly or Jessie in the series . Haley Mills was the teacher as well. And Zack wasn't necessarily the central character.

It was actually called "Good Morning Miss Bliss" on the Disney Channel, but was the basis for SBTB and these episode titles were merged into SBTB in reruns, dropping the original title of the series as it first ran.

I know that much, AgtFox, I was referring to the years after Kelly left. I have a giant blank-spot !!! It seems I can always catch 9th and 10th grade, and nothing more!!

Good Morning Miss Bliss: 1987-89
Saved By The Bell: 1989-93
SBTB: The College Years: 1993
SBTB: Wedding In Las Vegas: 1994

You are right, in the last season (1992), Kelly and Jessie were gone (I think they wanted to do movies, the actresses that is). Tori came to replace them. I do not remember how they explained them missing. However, they were back for the finale that aired in '93 , which was back to back aired in primetime I think with the premiere of the college years. Which is stupid because Zack is suppose to go to Harvard or something and they all end up at Cal U heh. Oh and Kelly doesn't show up in the college years though until the second episode I believe.

Cool, thanks!
And even though it was called "Good Morning Miss Bliss" then, it is now referred to as "Saved By The Bell" on any syndicated runs.

My favorite is when Zack and Slater finally gave in to passion and shared a night of tender lovemaking.

I think my favorite episode was the 2 hour one where they went to Hawaii.

I think my favorite Growing Pains episodes were the Hawaii ones too.

The truly sad thing about this, is that I remember all the episodes which you guys (and gals) are talking about.

I also liked the one where the whole gang decided to drive drunk which ended in an accident causing Kelly to bump her head and Slater to hurt his arm thus causing him to miss the big game.

Or the one where Mr. Belding's cocky younger brother came in and became pals with the gang only to dissappoint them before a big rafting trip.

My favorite episode was the one where Jesse went to Las Vegas to become a Showgirl but ends up doing naked lapdances for Kyle Maclachlan and pushing Gina Gershan down a flight of stairs. Those crazy kids

I saw Billy Bob Thornton on a talk-show recently, and he said that one of his guilty pleasures was watching SBtB.

Oh, where to begin (You know it is impossible to pick just one):

The one where Zack and Screech create "The Girls of Bayside" calander

Screech's special sauce w/ Punky Brewster

The production of Snow White-
"At first I didn't like all this drama, but now I don't mind so kiss me mama" A.C. Slater

I could go on all night . . .

ARTIE! The poor, poor, dead lizard!

The best part was when they had the dream sequence with Slater as Artie.

I like the one where:
-----------------------------------------------------------

Kelly gets a job at the Max to help with the family. She and Zack are going to the prom (a dance...they had like 10 proms) as Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately Kelly becomes a little to close to her boss, Jeff, who is a college guy.

Flash forward to the prom...

Zack Attack is singing...Kelly is a little on the nervous side...Zack wonders what is wrong.

They win King and Queen of the Prom/Dance.

Kelly slips up and calls Zack Jeff.

"We need to talk." says Zack.

Flash forward to them outside talking.

Back inside the final song is coming and Zack is no where to be found. Slater fills in. We get Slater and Jesse "singing" HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU?"

Meanwhile outside, Kelly is crying her heart out telling Zack she never meant it to be like this.

"Hey one last dance, huh?" Zack suggests.

"I'd like that." Kelly says.

They dance, and the episode is over.

-----------------------------------------------------------

that episode pissed me off so much. Kelly you fine ass whore!

Jeff can also be seen in the follow up epsiode where Zack tries to get back at Kelly....and the epsiode at the nightclub THE ATTIC where he is with another woman!

Cut for space... I bet if there was some real poll among die hard SBTB fans (and yes, there are hundreds of thousands of us, if not millions), then that would win favorite episode... and unable to recall what made each and every one so great, I'd probably pick that one too.

But like others have said, I too remember every episode that's been mentioned I don't remember every seeing any weak episodes at all, but then again, back when I first watched it, I wasn't exactly a very critical viewer

That is a great episode as well - each of the gang sets up Zach with a girl they know. Of course, Screech has the smokin' hot cousin.
