Actually, she last hosted in May 2000. This is a really good episode so far.

OK for SNL standards. The webcam skits are good and the recent weekend updates have really been good.

The Barbie sketch was good, as was Jarrett's room and WU. The skit with Tracy Morgan in space made me say WTF? It's sad to see a bloated, ancient, and totally irrelevent Dan Aykroyd cash in on his diminishing reputation for a few moments of screen time just because he has a small role in Spears' new film.

Being a Mormon and hailing from Utah, and knowing what's going on there next week (ie, the Olympics), I found the opening skit to be pretty funny, but my wife was offended.

Luckily, they were pretty close on the legistics... but they trunicated the entire name... its The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints...

... and I wonder how they got the Book of Mormon (which actually was a copy)... I wonder if Dan Akroyd got a copy while at Sundance a few weeks ago...

... is it just me or are those Gemini Twin sketches just getting stale...

... Jimmy Fallons "Olympic Theme" music picks were awesome!

TM's skit was strange but somewhat funny.

So that's why Dan was on. That explains the lame way they put him on the skit. SNL has put Chevy Chase on recently. Who's next?

It sure seemed to me that Britney was really singing during that "I'm Not A Girl..." song.

Yeah, I liked TM's "Astronaut Jones" skit... totally weird. Funny that the theme song for that skit was probably longer than the rest of the skit.

Also liked "The Leatherman", and "Barbie Dream House"

But is it just me: I can't take Britney seriously as long as she continues to lip-synch. It is just embarrassing. She can dance, and can even act somewhat, but she is supposed to be a singer, and that is the one thing she doesn't do!

I'll admit I cracked a smile during Jarret's Room, but I still can't get over what a knock-off of Wayne's World it is. Just replace "Party On/Excellent" with pot jokes.

Britney did a really good job I thought. The Barbie skit and Jarrets room were hilarious and Britney was very hot as well.

Nah. Her face looks weird. I haven't put my finger on it yet, but there is something seriously tweaky about her face. I can see why guys like her body, though.

Is it just my imagination, or are they really playing up on Chris Kattan being gay? He acts like a queen in every sketch lately. I loved the whole Barbie/Ken thing because I've always suspected Ken was gay.

There are so many other actors who could have hosted the show and many other bands they could have gotten to perform, they don't need to do the same show they did about a year ago.

Britney was wasted space this time. I really enjoyed her when she first hosted, but this time, she was mainly in the background. I'm sure Eternia will set the record straight, but it sounded like the first song was live and the second was recorded. If that first song wasn't live, her mastering team should be fired, because you could really tell how average her voice is.

Was it just me, or was this the first show in a long time that had better skits in the latter half of the show? I found myself bored through most of the first 45 minutes, but there were some great skits at the end. Maybe it was because I watched MadTV beforehand, and it was so much funnier that it took a while to downshift to SNL.

das ---

Yep "Not A Girl" was live, and "Boys" was mostly track with a little live thrown in.

I thought the episode was ok, not as good as her first appearance. I thought the opening ski thing stunk, and that leather shop thing was not funny at all. But oh well! Her best skit I would have to agree was her appearance as Skipper heh. 3 way with some power rangers ... lol !

I think it's funny how they made fun of her lip sinking last time she hosted, and she lip sinked last night

Well at least on the show where they did make of her lip syncing she sang both songs live ("Oops" and "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know")

I'm Brian Fellow!!

Think about the bunny!

One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

The local news hosts was really great too.
