I'm with you... Katherine had to feel like such a heel...

I liked the good 'ol country cop... he was great... I wonder if the bunny mask was a Donnie Darko publicity stunt...

CSI is one of the best shows on free-TV*!!!!!

Can they ask to see the persons hands, and undress them without a lawyer present?

And if your lwyer told you to not say anything to the cops, would you take off your clothes and let them take pictures?

CSI seem to do this the whole time, and I am just curious.

Definately a nice twist, although Katerine also played it close to the chest too, intentionally leaving a breadcrumb trail behind.

Somehow, I won't look at peanut butter the same way again.

Me and my wife love this show so much BUT we missed last night's episode because it was our wedding anniversary and we went out to celebrate.

Can somebody post a summary?

Great episode last night. Took a different turn than usual. I too was surprised by the ending. Didn't see that one coming.

Summary.

Show Starts with a guy in a bank looking very nervous.
he goes to the teller and asks to withdraw 1 million dollars, which he has in his account. He waits quite a while for his money.

when he leaves, he burns out of the parking lot, and gets pulled over and arrested, there is blood on his fingers, and he has 1 million in a suitcase.

He does not say anything to the police, so grissom and Kathryn interview him, they take swabs and photos of him, then his lawyer comes in and takes him out.

He leaves sunglasses on the table and K takes them to him. He says you can't be seen with me yada yada yada, and then his cell rings, he answers it, and says its for you.

The caller asks some questions, tells her to get into the car, leave all her stuff, and wait for his call.

Grissom had come outside to take stuff to the lab and just sees K leaving in the mans Lexus SC430... he calls her, but her cell is on the ground along with all her stuff. I think he briefs warwick and other dude at this point. However no crime has been committed.

so k and the million dollar man, drive to a diner, on the way he shows her a severed finger in an altoids box. In the diner Sara is having food with the guy from a bunch of episodes back where she was chief stinky( can't remember why though).

Anyway K and the man ignore sara, and sit at the counter, K takes the finger puts it in a glass with ice, and the phone rings, she is given instructions.

So she goes to leave and leaves the glass with finger on sara;s table. Not a word. She drives off.

Sara takes the finger to the crime lab, where she tells them what she knows.

Meantime K and the dude drive to the redezvous, on there way she has him mark the bills with some marker she used for her daughters school play which she is now missing.

As they reach the mile marker she jumps on the brakes, and leaves some ruber on the road, and in the gravel. Leaving Clues.

Then she drops the marker on the gravel, adn drags her feet to leave a trail.

The person they are to meet, comes and asks for the money, he has a squeaky voice from helium, and wears a donnie darko rabbit mask.

some toing and froing K wants to see the girl before she hands over the cash, but he is desperate to see her again, so he hands over the money.

Meantime the others are questioning his wife, and learnign that he had a condo, which it turns out had his girlfriend in it.

I will do more later, as this is tough typing.... and a bit cliffhangery.

he did it because he wanted to leave something behind so catherine would run out and give it to him, then the cell phone would ring...also, he didn't want to look suspicous by refusing...it was all a part of his genius plan, but he got caught.

Alright lets see where was I.

So after K and the man hand off the money they are told where to go next.

We then move back to the investigation.

Nick goes to the condo, and finds a bird there with blood, there are 2 wine glasses with lipstick. Sara comes in, and they talk a bit, and do some searching.

analysis done on the finger by the pathologist tells us that the finger was removed post-mortem... The plot gets thicker.

Wife is asked questions, doesn't give any answers, child is in back of Escalade eating pb&j sandwhiches, which mom says to be careful as dad had just spent a fortune cleaning the SUV.

So K and Roy Logan, ( the husband/lover guy ) go to the locatin and found the body dead in a drain.

Body gets brought back to CSI, and pathology work is done, killed by blunt trauma to the head, and there is a chip in the skull.

Sara and Nick discover that the body was removed in a shower curtain. also find a chip missing from a marble table in the condo.
Also all teh knives have been washed in the dishwasher, but not the glasses !!

It's all coming together now, the wife looks like suspect number 1.
The husband comes in and looks at the body of his lover.

Sara and warwick go to the drain, and find the shower curtain, they examine it, find a slit from where the finger was cut off, and some blood, and also another substance, turns out to be PB, discovered by Greg.

Wife brought in and interviewed, lawyer is present, and they ask questions.. Ask to see her hands the woman shows them, they turn off the lights, and the lawyers hands light up from the marked money.

Turned out Roy told his lawyer to play the part, and make teh phone calls, collect the money etc. Lawyer told everything, but roy is gone, as is the money.

then a phone call, a state trooper who had seen K and Roy yesterday pulls him over for speeding, and voila case solved.
