So far...off to a bad start. This is terrible.

The laugh track and the father remind me of the early days of Married With Children. I mean the father acts and sounds just like Al Bundy.

What a suck fest so far.

I must say, that was the suckiest suck that ever sucked. It was 30 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. However, as I recall, the first episode of That 70's show wasn't that great either, but the second one was significantly better. I'll give That 80's show 1 more episode before I abandon it like an old newspaper.

Wow, I was amazed at how bad that show was. What did the people who made it do to get this god awful show on the air?

And just when you think that tv can get no worse, they bring you "thats 80's show".

Geez people, it wasn't THAT bad... For a pilot anyway.
I rather enjoyed it, and I think it will get much better. Will anyone else step up in defense of this show?

Did anybody else notice that the bisexual ex-girlfriend played the "sexy cousin" on yesterday's episode of That 70's Show?

Are you kidding?? How can you stand that awful laugh track that comes on for no reason at all. I mean the show opened with them dancing and in no less than 3 seconds there was roaring laughter from the laugh track...the dancing was funny??

Also how can you possibly overlook that there was nothing funny said or no funny situations during the whole show?

How can you overlook the re-hashed, derivative characters and situations that have been done a 1000 times?

Put simply their is nothing good about this pilot episode. It was absolutely terrible.

If what you say is true, then it can only get better. (I guess it can't get any worse?!) I'll keep watching though, cuz I still kinda liked it. That punk girl was actually pretty hot when she

Man oh Man, this show was just sooo BAD and I dont mean the good BAD from the 80s.
I didnt think anything could be as unfunny as That 70s show, but I was wrong.
What a clunker!
And yes, the laugh track was unbearable.

Cancel this one please and put something funny on.

I really want to like this show because I'm a fan of "That '70s Show" and a bit of an '80s child - but they've got to tone the laugh track down.

I'd much rather watch this than "Ed", though.

The 70s were funnier than theh 80s. That said, I'm watching Enterprise and had no idea That 80s Show was on.

I bet Enterprise is showing a more interesting story line

It did have funny parts and the punk chick was a little hot, but it depends on what time it is on (also in MN) if it's on at 7 MY Wife and Kids blows this show away, and the laugh track was getting on my nerves.

If you prefer this total crap over "ED" than you deserve the laugh track on all of the shows you watch to "help" you know when to laugh and when to pick your arse.

I guess I do "than"

That said, if "That '80s Show" keeps up the obnoxious laugh track, I'll ditch the show and just not watch anything in that time slot. But given the choice of "That '80s Show" or "Ed" - I'd rather have the former on in the background while I'm doing other stuff.

I watched "Ed" half-way through the first season, but didn't find it nearly as charming as it thinks it is.

I watched about 10 minutes of That '80s Show tonight...and I think it was 10 minutes too much.
