Buffy and Angel crossover still possible...

A crossover show between Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel may still be in the pipeline.

The move could be a possibility even though the two shows are now on different US TV networks.

Creator Joss Whedon is reportedly considering a storyline that will cross over the networks to both shows.

Though both shows initially aired on WB, Buffy jumped to UPN this season after a dispute between Whedon and the network.

Whedon told The New York Daily News: "It's not something we're pursuing this year, but it's something we might get into next year if things have cooled down between the two networks."

Buffy first aired in 1997, with Angel spinning off two years later.

There's no doubt in my mind that there will be a crossover next year. It will hopefully (and likely) be Buffy's last season, and there would be plenty of motivation for The WB to hop on that bandwagon with a cross-over. Of course, if UPN swoops down and takes Angel from The Frog, then there's no problem at all. Whatever happens, there will be at least one more cross-over.

It is totally possible if the network heads can be convinced. They did it on Ally McBeal (Fox)and The Practice (ABC) a few years ago.

I hope this happens. When Buffy ends, much of the Angel cast needs to be involved. Most importantly Angel so he can kick Spike's ass.
