I loved the show on Sunday... but I did have one question:
Did Cloutier
at the end there? Or what?
I'm glad to see Keller back. Him and Ryan were always my two favourite characters. And I can't wait for the DVD of the first season to come out.

First, let me make something very clear...
I really really really like Oz. It is one of my favorite shows.
Now...
Enough with the supernatural crap. Don't get me wrong, I love(d) The X-Files and I am really starting to dig Buffy, but Oz is no place for the crap they have pulled with Dillon the past 2 weeks.
I still loved the episodes, but I would have liked them more without the supernatural storyline.
It's kind of like how I would of like Star Wars Episode 1 more if there was less of Jar-Jar.

I'll be honest. I don't watch "OZ" for the plot.
The stories fly by at an ADD-afflicted writers pace. And if you haven't followed the serpentine attack/retaliation/revenge plotline from the beginning - you're pretty much out of the loop. (Incidentally - does that Minister Sayid guy ever do anything but whisper-spit threats at close range and glower?)
I watch "OZ" for the gratuitous penis shots.
This week's episode had ZERO! That's right: ZERO gratuitous male nudity. Even the one guy seen in the shower had a towel on around his waist.
What gives?
If this show doesn't start doling out the shameless skank-booty shots, then I'm through with it. You hear? Through.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Oh, but on topic; I am totally confounded by this supernatural angle. I like it, though sometimes when they go out on a limb it's kinda hit-or-miss. Like the "old age" drug from last season. I just hope they don't drop this plot in the space of five minutes like they did that one.

I agree with Alien Redrum OZ is JAIL enough with the mystical stuff and lets get back to the good ol' double crossing, race wars, abdomen shanking, new guy ass banging that I've grown to love
Speaking of ass banging I about fell off the couch when the Mob kid got "it" again
first from Adebisi, this time from Schillinger
.
BTW what happen with the little flirtation between Leo and his "assistant"? I thought for sure they would shack up. Come on Leo show McManus who the real "playa" in Oz is
edit: March 19 1st season HUUHA

How much "prison initiation" is there on this show? I saw only part of one episode. Very intensive but no nudity from what I had seen.

Not as much as you'de think it depends on the story and what the characters are doing like if new guy shows up and is week or makes a bad impression expect to see him bent over by the closing credits. Or if you see two guys that have "thing" for each other i.e. Beecher and Keller there might be some man on man tongue wrestling.

It seems that guy loves getting naked for the camera.
Too bad they don't have more female guards. That one that got naked last year, well,

But with my luck, the piano teacher will get naked first.

Actually, grunter, if you are referring to the most recent episode (with the prisoners training the dogs) there was indeed MFN (or is it FMN?) The one Hispanic character with the lazy eye (whose name I cannot remember), in the shower, attacking the new guy. It was a long shot, I'm surprised you missed it. And speaking of nudity, didn't that woman on death row last season have a few scenes?

If there was penis, then I retract my statement and make a correction.
I personally haven't seen penis in two episodes.

The actress who played her is Kathryn Erbe. She was in Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon. She's also married to Terry Kinney, who plays McManus.
