Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon On TV Tonight, Dubbed Or Subbed?

Anyone know if they will be showing the dubbed or subbed version on STARZ tonight?

I am guessing that they will air the dubbed version. I know that starz cinema shows quite a few Honk Kong films lately and they almost always show the dubbed versions, full frame as well. They did air Bride With White Hair letterboxed and subbed once though. If you have Starz you should catch the Sam Jackson hosted Martial Arts in the Movies, it features alot of great footage from many HK flms as well as some insight into how Kung Fu made its way into the cinema. highly reccomended for newcomers to HK films as well as old vets.

Yes and I turned on the Closed Caption and noticed that they're not matched.

My father rented this movie because I said it was "pretty good"

It was dubbed. Needless to say we turned it off because it was terrible.

I think that's why most people have problems with forgein films, or anime. The voice acting is TERRIBLE (espically in anime.)

I don't rent. My old parents do though because they can't afford a DVD player due to my mother's illness.

I almost got them a DVD player for Christmas... was thinking about it, but in the end I got them somethings they could use more around the home.

Oh well, maybe next year
