Survivor was two hours so CSI wasn't on this week. I'm not sure about whether the other shows were on or not.

What a crap-fest of shows. Becker? I thought that show was cancelled a long time ago...someone still actually watches it?

NYPD Blue is ranked third in the time slot
9:00 - Frasier (NBC), The Guardian (CBS), NYPD Blue (ABC), 24 (FOX), Smallville (WB), Hughleys (UPN)

Philly is last in its time slot:
10:00 - Judging Amy (NBC), Dateline (NBC), Philly (ABC)

Friends VS Survior

Title ........ Viewers . Rating . Share . Rank
-----------
Friends.... 25.5 ........ 16.1 ..... 24 ..... 2
Survior.... 27.3 .........14.7 ..... 22 ..... 3

I assume it also has something to do with Friends being 30 minutes and Survior being an hour.

The show is actually moderately funny, but it's barely the 3rd best show in the timeslot.

Typical. Philly and Blue are two of the best shows on TV right now - last night was no exception - and they sit in ratings oblivion. Poor ABC. They have so many great shows that no one watches.

If you are really bored....
How about posting all the shows and how they rank
against each other for that particular time slot.
That could tell which shows might be in trouble.

24.

Fox spent more money promoting this show than anything in the history of television and it consistently gets 5-something rating. Sometimes even worse. Smallville beat it a couple of weeks ago.

Fox is doing anything and everything to try and get people to watch it. More ads, more re-airs, more, more, more. They picked it up for the season almost to keep from embarrassing themselves.

Done. I added them all in, I just didn't put what network they are on.

They don't say in the newspaper.

It does have this though:

Ratings point = 1,022,000 TV households
Share = % of sets in use
Viewers = millions

I do not think that Titus beats the West Wing, but it is the highest rated new show in the time slot, ie of all the shows that come on at 9:30 Titus gets the most under West Wing since it is an hour. It says West Wing has 18.4 million viewers and Titus only has 6.3 million.

Is their a website that lists all of the weekly rankings? The most I have seen is the top 20, but I like to see how shows like Buffy and Roswell are doing.

I dont think that's what it means. Since all the others shows in the Wednesday 9-10pm time period are 1-hour dramas, except Fox, it's the only one listed at 9:30pm. If you look at Friday 8:30pm, only Ellen is listed and as everyone knows, Ellen is definitely not winning its timeslot.

Not that I know of. I got this stuff from USA Today. Its not on their online site, but in the actual paper.

Buffy:

Tuesday (Jan 8) in order:
08:00
JAG (CBS)
70's Show
Dharma & Greg
Imagine That
Buffy
Gilmore Girls

Roswell must not have aired that week?

That's only drama show I like and actually have been able to stick to watching it on a weekly basis. The timeslot is killing it. If fox moved it to thursdays I think it would do better.

Anyone notice Fox's promo for the replay on Friday? They pretty much asked us to ask our friends to watch it on Friday.

I think that the show was doomed for falling ratings because, well, not everyone is going to catch ever episode, and if you miss some or not catch the begining, it's really difficult to get into it. You really have to start from the beginning and stick with it through the end. I'm glad Fox is sticking with it and hope this show makes it to DVD.

You are right Das. This thread is depressing. Most of my fav. shows are pretty low in the ratings.

King of Queens, Fear Factor and Millionaire beats Boston Public??? Boston Public hasn't been as good to me this season but come on it's better than all three of those shows. Third Watch beating Ally? Same response as above. Imagine That beating Buffy. 3 Sisters beating Undeclared. 3 Sisters is one of the unfunniest shows I have ever seen. Guardian beating both NYPD and 24???

Friends , ER and West Wing are about the only shows that did well that I watch.

I was also surprised that 24 didn't do better on Fridays. I was hoping more people caught it since Fridays are a slow night. I got my mom and sister to watch 24 for the first time this weekend and just explained to them what had gone before. They both said damn this is a really good show. They also said they were going to start watching it. FX really needs to start doing some marathons of this.

What the **** is "Parkers" ?

I'm glad Angel is finishing last. When Buffy started getting more popular it took a slide in quality.

It's one of the UPN shows on Mondays, and was a spin-off "Moesha"

If you do a search in this forum. Several people have
posted a couple of them in the last month or so...
I like the Mercury Center news one.
