A showcase episode for Doggett has is suffering from amnesia in Mexico. I wonder if Steven Soderbergh is getting royalties from all that washed out footage of Mexico ("Traffic") used in tonight's episode of the X-Files.
The main thrust of the episode is to remind Doggett why he's got to embrace the X-Files as his mission in life, all due to
Overall, an okay episode, nothing too sparkling to comment about other than the paragraph above.

Now I'm looking forward (sort of) to the rest of the season - because I figure it can't get worse than tonight's episode. Total bummer.

Started watching this episode because Alias was a repeat. I couldn't make it through the whole thing...
Holy crap, that was bad. This show doesn't even retain the slightest hint of what used to make it great. I'm not quite sure where my DVD season boxes will end, but I can be pretty certain that season 9 won't be part of my collection.
Also, as usual for this season, the show placed 4th in the ratings for its timeslot -- even though Alias was a repeat! I fully expect a cancellation by the end of the year. They should really just focus on theatrical films now before they drive the show (even further) into the ground.

Very poor.
Was there a point? Prior investigation? Sculley had 5 minutes? Reyes just drives up to an abandoned building where Doggett happens to be? She willingly allows him to keep the gun after he calms down?
