It's about time, it's about space about, strange people in the strangest place. That is what this show is about. Hector and Mac are two astronauts who break the time barrier and travel back in time to the prehistoric. Gronk is a cave man with his wife Shadd. In the middle of it's run do to low ratings the creators reversed the concept so that Hector and Mac made it to the twentieth century."
MY LIVING DOLL
"SUMMARY
Airs Next:CBS at Sunday 9:00 PM (30 min.)Status:Ended Premiered:September 27, 1964 Last Aired:March 17, 1965 Show Categories:Comedy, Science-FictionThe inventor of a robot that looks like a woman leaves it in the care of the base psychiatrist, to secretly train how to behave properly."
The robot was played by Julie Newmar and the psychiatrist never tried to nail her. That what made this show so weird.

I always got a few laughs out of "Holmes and Yoyo", even though the premise was kind of weird. It was easier to suspend disbelief for a comedy rather than trying to take the concept of a robot partner seriously like Fox's later "Mann and Machine".

"Thanks"
The Winthrops are just a typical 17th century family of Puritans living in a newly-settled colony in the New World, coping with famine, plague, and the stodginess of their fellow colonists.

"Turnabout" (NBC) in 1979.

I remember that show from when I was a kid. Kinda like a "Freaky Friday" but involving a married couple.

I always thought THE COSBY SHOW was kind of weird. You have a pediatrician married to a lawyer both of whom never take their work home, show any signs of stress from two highly stressful jobs and have time to just hang out all day.

From: Northern New Jersey...or as we say it "Sopranos Country USA"
EDIT - Nevermind it was Baywatch Hawaii, which was equally weird/bad.

You take Angie, add in a cute teenage daughter that can freeze time with her fingers, and Burt Reynolds in a crystal talking cube and you've got comedy gold!

"On The Rocks" a sitcom set in a prison, with the main characters being prisoners.
"Mighty Man and Yuk" a Saturday morning cartoon, supposedly fit for children. The concept was a superhero who owned the world's ugliest dog. The dog is also really stupid. The dog ALSO handles the super-power granting ray Mighty Man needs to do his heroic work.
"Charlie's Angels" Three beautiful women solve mysteries and crimes. Basically they poke around until the bad guys get nervous and take pot shots at them. Then they know who the bad guys are.
"Jazzercize" Just show women exercising.
"Real People" So, it's not that strange any more. It was wierd when it came out.
