DVD? Austin Stories and Downtown

MTV's Austin Stories and Downtown seem like naturals for DVD with about six hours of episodes each. Both were smart, quirky and amusing in their own ways, and it just seems they'd be perfect for cult canonization on DVD! Click on titles for episode guides.

I thought Austin Stories was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. Too bad it never found a bigger audience. I would love to give this (on DVD) to my brother as a gift, as well as get one for myself.

Well, at least two of us agree. I remember seeing the first episode of Austin Stories and HATING it ... but for some reason I gave it another shot and every episode was better than the last.
