Case in point, my best friend, who is 6 years older than me, looked the same age as me when I met her (and her hair was long). She cut it all off, and had a cute style, but it aged her a few years so she looked much closer to her actual age. I liked SMG's hair a LOT more long - it was so pretty. Now it looks like everyone else's hair, which I find boring. Of course, I have long hair, so I might be biased when I think long hair is better than short...but the main reason mine is long is that it looks so much better on me that way than it does short.
