I think the funniest part was (paraphrase)
I know I butchered it, but dang, that conversation had me rolling.

DIdnt it seem like it was kind of the same as the Lisa-Vegaterian episode? echange Richard Gere for the McCartneys. Lisa thinks different, parents get mad, she runs away, celebrity tells her to deal with it, she goes home, all is good

Flanders: "Uh oh. My Satan-sense is tingling! Come on children, to the bomb shelter!" (I don't think he actually called it the bomb shelter... but I can't remember exactly)
Rod&Tod: "When will we be able to come out, daddy?"
Flanders: "Maybe never..."
Rod&Tod: "Yayyy!"

He also had some funny lines about his rocket with the good yaw from Cape Nedaveral.

Is it just me or do they not fully develope a second story like they used to. Its not bad now a days. But I mean they ended the burns buy out pretty simple. By him just throwing the money back at them. end of that story. Blah
It had plenty of funny moments it just felt it lacked something. thats all.

The things you learn with Closed Captioning:
When Burns throws the money back at the table of churchies, the closed captioning adds a line that is not voiced, "How many doomsday devices does one man need, anyway?"
I wonder why the captions contain lines which are not heard on the audio track? Smallville is also chock full of them. Apparently the captioners get the script before the final audio editing.
