He's Gay!
the hook lady is gonna gut him with her hook.
other than that it was mostly a sappy holiday episode. i think brooke is just playin her parents...well not really, but it seemed that way last week.

I enjoyed this one ... sappy, but good.
And I don't think Brooke's playing anyone. Everything she says and does is exactly what a kid would go through during such a situation, except that they wouldn't be that articulate about it. I think it could look like she's playing them, because no kid would be able to sort through all of that in the way she's doing. Her reactions are from a therapist's handbook.
Still, I like it.

Hook lady still freaks me out. With Guber getting her a good hand and the kid being gay, it's too much like Jerry Springer. Other than that, I thought the show was pretty good.

I liked last night's episode....
Jeremy is gay....whoa. Makes for some potential drama in the future.
I like Billy Zane's character!
I still think Michael Rappaport's character will eventually hook up with Jeri Ryan's character a la Harry Senate and Lauren Davis.
At first when Rappaport got the card and stocking from his student, I thought she had a crush on him or something...while that's still possible, it looks like she was just thanking him for helping her out and trying to get her into Boston University.
It's kinda nice to see a different side to Chi McBride's character. Kinda sappy, but sappy is good during the holidays.
It sucks that we won't get any new episodes until next year, though.

I swear, David E. Kelly is trying to turn this show into Ally McBeal Redux. Single female lawyers, frivolous lawsuits, musical numbers, Boston setting, some of the same actors, teen/adult romances, other bizarro romances, kids dying of cancer, etc.

They should do a Picket Fences crossover with Dr. Brock and Wambaugh coming to Boston Public. Now that would be weird.
