Your Two Minute Drill...Begins...Now

Anybody watch Two Minute Drill on ESPN?

Follow up question: Anybody want to strangle the guests who read the questions so slow/error-prone that the contestant has no chance to get to them all in the first round?

I can't stand that show. They take 30 minutes to ask 8 minutes worth of questions. Ugh.

I love that show.

I don't really have a problem with the number of questions they ask either.

i love 2 minute drill! i'm getting the cd-rom game for christmas. that contestant, willy, is a beast. he has won both tournaments they held. i haven't seen him lose yet. but he's only answered 1 question of great significance correctly.

Love the show. My wife actually got me into it. She likes sports but she really likes it b/c it's one game show where the contestants are under obvious pressure - it's fascinating to watch 'em squirm.

The celebs who read the questions sometimes get on my nerves - the way they stumble and mispronounce the simplest words makes them look just plain dumb. Some of them really should've turned down the offer to be on the show. But as long as the question writers keep it fair - using similar wording for both contestants' questions - then it's OK. Both contestants have little chance to get them all!

Its not the number of questions. Its the fact that you have 22 minutes of nothingness and/or commercials.

For the record, I don't like millionaire either. I haven't watched Jeopardy in a while, though, so I can't judge that.

the only reason that I never watch millionaire anymore is because it is always celebrity millionaire. I refuse to watch celebrity game shows unless it is either a celebrity I really like, or it is Celebrity Jeopardy from SNL

Yes. Yes.

I think it's an awesome show except for the occasional idiot who can't read questions properly. Also, the questions of great significance are frickin' hard as hell...the few times I've actually seen it answered correctly, I was flabbergasted...

I haven't watched it recently. I liked the original format better.

If I happen to be flipping the channels and it is on I watch it. Man did you see the episode with Shane Mosely doing the questions. It was brutal, good thing he can box because I don't know how far he could go with schooling.

Your 2 Minute Drill ... Ends ... Now

Or at least soon.

I just read that the current tournament of 2 Minute Drill is going to be the last one, as the show has been cancelled. The finale will air at 12:30 am EST Christmas morning. Ouch.
