IIRC, the episode is on at 10/9C so that doesn't affect BP but that would affect RAW.

That's weird that they'd put a new Ed on a different night and after sweeps have ended. I hope that's not a bad sign ratings-wise.

wasn't the tree lighting a live thing? if so that would explain why they had to move the episdoe of ed to monday. i think that they are pretty set with the ed on wednesday thing before west wing. it fits in that time slot much better then the original sunday night one.
also, i think that fx reruns 24 on friday nights too, doesn't it? i know that at least the first one they did.

FX will rerun this week's 24 on Monday at midnight (or what most people think of as Sunday night) and also Monday at 10pm.
It seems like the Monday, 10pm, rerun is the only one set in stone, while the other rerun can move around depending on other FX programming.

According to TV guide, The new Ed episode that airs on Monday will ALSO re-air at it's regular time on Wednesday.
I have no clue then why they are airing it first on Monday, unless they want to see how it might do in that time slot for a possible future change.
It still amazes me that so much crap gets better ratings than ED. I certainly think its a top 10 show, quality wise, and even though there's a lot of quirkiness, I still think it should end the week in the top 25...which it doesn't seem to do.
It would be a shame if NBC let this show go anytime soon (boy, would I miss Carol) as they did with Newsradio and Freaks and Geeks. Those two cancelled shows are better than almost anything on right now.

speaking of cancelled quality shows don't forget sports night, but that is another thread. i seem to recall that last season they had the same situation where they aired an original show on monday and repeated it on wednesday. IMO, nbc would be stupid to move ed cause they have it a great slot before west wing, which is one of the highest rated shows on tv. it's probably just a glitch due to the tree lighting.
