"Give a little bit..." Who is who is the new GAP TV ads

Okay there are three of these (that I have seen recently anway). Who is who? I've picked out Cheryl Crow and a few others. Can anyone give positive IDs on all of these folks (should be about 12 total - 4 per spot). It seems they have one with all men, one all women and one with both.

Thanks!

I've only seen part of one commercial. It was the first singer (Dwight Yoakam), then the channel was changed on me.

And one solo for each one. There are about 11 of these that I count.

Sheryl Crow, Robbie Robertson, Seal, Dwight Yoakam are the only ones I know for certain.

I guess I'm getting old when I can't recognize musicians in a friggin' GAP commercial.

I'm sorry, but these ads simply pale in comparison to the awe-inspiring beauty of the ones performed by Carole King's daughter. I must have played "So Far Away" a hundred times after catching a glimpse of the tune in those Gap ads.

My god - that woman could make a gay man crave carnal knowledge with a female.

Nah. 'Never happen.

You guys are killing me! But thanks, I needed to laugh a little.

And thanks for the Gap link, checking it out now.

Now I'll REALLY date myself, but I had a Louise Goffin (King's daughter) lp back in 1977. It was called Kid Blue, and I used to sit and stare at the cover and get all tingly...

this is what makes me feel old. i can't read it without busting out laughing:

on sheryl crow:
chunky shrunken sweater
(in Gap stores only)
her suede belt
chunky shrunken sweater sounds like a ben and jerry's flavor gone wrong.

cranky.

Not as old as I thought...

I feel pretty good...I knew all of the artists except for one....Shaggy.

I guess he threw me off by not including "...on the kitchen floor" after "Give a little bit..."!

You know, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was bugged by the identities of people in these commercials.

Liz Phair....must go yo Kazaa to get music. She's quite hot and has a good voice, but I've honestly never listened to any of her music.

But being open minded...I'll steal some and give it a listen.

Liz Phair rocks. She can be sort of an acquired taste for some, I imagine, because she tends to be a little rough around the edges.

I recommend her 'Exile In Guyville' disc highly.

Yeah, I had that on tape a while back. I'm not sure if I still have it...
