Crossing Jordan 11/27 - SPOILERS

NOTE: Forgive the typo in the subject.

I must say, this is one of the most intelligent and compelling shows this season. And by "intelligent" I mean "trite and tired." And by "compelling" I mean "a big fat predictable yawner." It's annoying, because I love the supporting cast, but Nancy Drew does the stupidest things on this show, and every law officer is a bumbling idiot. And it certainly didn't help that NBC promoted Chris Noth as the killer, so I watched the whole episode rolling my eyes, knowing full well that he WASN'T the killer. NBC's programming has steadily declined into shows that routinely insult our intelligence. During the commercial break, I heard "On an all new Law & Order, you can't get more ripped than this." Shoot me now.

I know what you mean. For God's sake, can't they use anything other than "ripped from the headlines!" to promote Law and Order?! Jeez.

As for CJ, you're very right. The supporting cast is awesome, and they're probably the only reason I tune in. Jordan herself is a nimwit, but I do have this to say about last night's episode - at least they didn't do that "okay, I'll be the killer" crap with her dad. That got REALLY old...fast. It's amazing they can make the supporting cast so well, but can't write Jordan out of a box.

Oh well, this one is probably due to be bumped from my lineup soon....
