WTC removed from You've Got Mail on CBS

Anyone have this one on video? I could have sworn during the computer map in the opening credits they show the WTC. Tonight on CBS it's gone. Someone double check this for me?

If true, this has to be one of the dumbest, pointless post Sept 11th editing I've seen so far.

If it's true, I 100% agree.

Actually on the disc (in 1.85:1 widescreen) the WTC is not seen on the opening credits computer map... The lower part of Manhattan is off-screen, and when the buildings start to render they go in tight to the Empire State Building. So no WTC in the shot to begin with.

Adboy is right. I watched my DVD over the weekend and didn't see any images of the WTC in the whole movie. I think Nora Ephron liked the Empire State Building more. It is a more romatic building than the WTC towers were.

Haven't they learned anything from zoolander?

I tend to think the WTC as a symbol of our strength. It shouldn't be removed from anything.

It's going to be real funny if they rebuild the WTC. Then people are going to be saying was removing in the first place really needed?

BTW, I'm really glad the WTC was NOT removed from the opening credit sequence in the Sopranos season 2 set...

Not too bad. Actually, more of a chick flick.
