I hope this thread applys to this forum. It's about TV!
I just bought a TV/VCR combo for my bedroom. The problem I have is that there is no cable TV jack in there. I don't want to pay to get a drop there either.

Anybody know of any solutions to broadcast that signal in there? I think I've heard of some kind of wireless device, or perhaps something that works with the electrical outlets?

There are video senders that will transmit wireless but I don't know of anything that will trasmit a cable signal wierless. Why don't you just run cable yourself to the bedroom?

there used to be something called the "Rabbit" I think that was wireless

other options, if there are heating/ac ducts, run the cable down one of those

Thanks for the suggestions. At this point, I'm going to call Comcast to see how much it will cost to install a drop in the bedroom. I don't really know how I'd do it myself, as I live in an apartment with no apparent cable routes. I'll let a professional pull it thru the ceiling/walls, whatever. I thought I remember Comcast saying it could be done for $25 or so? That's not so bad...

I just ran coax along the wall, and covered it with a small rug where it crossed the hall from the living room into my bedroom
being a college student in an apartment I don't care if a little coax is visible

I also remember the rabbit, ... Might be your best bet.
