i am surprised that no one has started a 'one and only emmy thread'. i guess that everyone is watching the game. me, i am switching back and forth for now but when alias comes on i will take a break and keep it there. as for the emmys, so far it seems to be a west wing kinda night. two awards given so far and both to TWW. woo hoo!!!

the emmys were on tonight? oh well, im going to watch band of brothers series finale in 30 minutes

make that 3 for 3 as bradley whitford gets the supporting actor trophy. he is my favorite character so .

What emmys?

I watched Band of Brothers, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the rest of the Jets-Saints game.

It took some doing, but I had Emmys on TV 1, WS on TV 2, TiVo grabbing The Practice reruns (would have been Alias) and Uprising, and West Coast feeds of HBO programming.

All in all, I was happy with the awards. My favorite was 'Best Writing in a Sopranos Episode'. "I'd like to thank Aaron Sorkin for not winning."

I can do without Mecha-Streisand singing a pop version of "You'll never walk alone" though.

Ellen was surprisingly funny most of the way through, and her gay jokes were well placed. Overall a good show. And right at 3 hours too.
