I can't believe I fell asleep. Was it good tonight? Was Ferrell on anything funny'?

I liked how they spoofed that Liberty Medical commercial.

Last night was the first one where they really used the talents of new cast members:

SETH MEYERS

and

AMY POEHLER (from Upright Citizen's Brigade in NYC).....I guess she was already friends with Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch, both alums of that show

They really haven't used JEFF RICHARDS a lot, except a couple weeks ago, where he played WILLY WONKA in a skit

Interesting how people were clapping for the BLUES BROTHERS 2000 duo. I thought that movie bombed the big one. I guess it was the charisma of having Aykroyd and Goodman on the SNL stage once again.....

I'm a little tired of "John Goodman" hosting. Every time he's on, it's just a jumbled mess of Dan Aykroid skits. And I don't care how many times they try to sell it, he's not a Blues Brother. Sorry. I had hoped Goodman would have the guts to make fun of his stupid sit-com, but apparently not. Decent episode I guess. I laughed at all the Anthrax stuff, and Tina Fey had plenty of great one-liners on Weekend Update.

I loved that fake commercial that came on after the monologue, about Herbal Essences for Men. That was hilarious.
