the west wing 10/24 (possible spoilers for west coasters)
well i gotta say that while this wasn't a bombshell episode it was great for all of the little things that it had in it. i loved how AS got back to focusing on the characters.
-- i was glad to see ainsley again. last year i wasn't sure about her but they way that they used her in this episode was subtle and well thought out.
-- good to see c.j. back in her old fighting form after the craptastic time she had the last couple of weeks. hopefully, her attempt to 'make up for it in one swing" won't come back to bite her.
--i really liked how they focused on donna a bit more. i don't know where they will take her storyline with the republican, but hopefully they will take it the old 'josh gets jealous' route, but that is another thread.
--probably the most touching thing was the president's reflections on mrs. landingham and her absence. over the summer i had forgotten how much she meant to the show. i really hate the way that sorking wrote her out of the show, even if she did have another show lined up. no one will be able to replace mrs. landingham.
so anyway, those are just my thoughts on this week's show.
oh yeah, the line that toby had about 'can we please let california secede from the union?' or something to that effect??

Yet another great episode. Nothing spectacular ... just a good solid show. I didn't realize how much I missed Ainsley until she was back. It was also nice to see Mark Feuerstein ... I wonder how far they'll take his character.

I love Ainsley! She is so hot and that accent - yum.
I thought that this was an excellent episode - very well written.

Anything with Ainsley is always good IMO.
I really thought they were going to make her a regular.
Does anybody else think that Connie and Sam are being set up to get together later on in the series?

Maybe, but it had always appeared that they were setting up Ainsley and Sam.
