Scrubs... getting better and better

Thought the show was very good last night. I love it when they cut to a character's thoughts (especially the "dog" scenes). Some of the scenes last night were instant classics IMHO.

I really think this is a great show. The last time I liked a new show this much was Sports Night and we all know what happened to that .

I pray it lasts a few seasons at the least.

My fave quote from last night's episode was when they're playing golf:

Dr. Bob tees off...

Dr. Cox: "Niiiice length. Tell me, does your husband play too?"

I like it also and it's one of the new shows that has been renewed for a full season!

Think how well it would do on Thursday nights. Some just think that you can't have ER and Scrubs on the same day. I think it would work out fine.

I wouldn't mind seeing it replace "Inside Schwartz" on Thursday nights. Having it in the "Just Shoot Me" slot is too close to "ER".

I think next year, Fraser will be moved back to Thursday nights, possibly taking over the 9 p.m. slot, and moving Will and Grace into the 8 p.m. slot (when Friends packs it in).

Enjoyed it very much. The golf comment was gold!

Another great one when your buddy hits a put short, "What happened? Skirt fly up in your face?" I love that one.

I love it too, but it is suffering I think. People are not sticking in after Frasier. Scrubs has not been in the Nielsen top 20 since its premiere, correct me if I am wrong. Unless it is #21 hheehe. I would like to see it on Thursday. I also agree that Frasier should go back to Thurday nights. If they do move Scrubs, I would say it needs to be on at 8:30 so it can have padding before ER comes on.

Does anybody else think that Scrubs kid (can't remember his character name) looks like a young Ray Romano?

re: Inside Schwartz goes byebye, Friends not necessarily

Inside Schwartz has been put on the shelf for now..

one consequence of which is that Scrubs will have one new episode shown in its time slot instead.. but i cannot tell you which week that will be.. i just know what i read in the trades (Variety, Hollywood Reporter).

the stars of Friends have been offered a new deal which is same pay for less airtime... no word from the stars on the whether or not they'll accept, but i'm betting that we are right in predicting its ending after this season.

Scrubs, on the other hand, despite what was said by somebody else is doing quite well. it has consistently stayed at the number 1 position in its time slot, which is a good indication that it may last more than one season... and chances are that it will be moved to a more cushy slot if it gets a second season (i.e. a timeslot that doesn't have the :30 at the end)...

i love the show, personally. and i love john c mcginley in the role of dr. cox.

amen.
