Ok, I wasn't really paying attention to the opening credits. Was Eric Paladino (dave) still on there? How about Ming-na, she really gone?

Did anyone know that Dr. Chen will be leaving the show for good? Sheesh, that'll be 4 doctors in one season!
I wonder if Malucci will linger around for 1 or 2 more shows, same with Chen.
Susan looks rough, but at least Mark and Susan's chemistry is still intact. Elizabeth's chilly reception of Susan was pretty funny.
Carter's going to be swimming with sharks when he takes the chief resident position. The best thing that Carter has going for him is that he's got "money" so Weaver won't be able to truly threaten his livelihood, like she does with the other doctors who have huge med school debts hanging over them. Weaver operates politically like my former boss, a trait I recognized quickly, and never did trust the guy and still don't. But both are survivors, so I can't fault them for that quality.
Think Benton and Roger will spin off in the new incarnation of "My Two Dads"?
All in all, sort of a creepy episode, especially watching Weaver worm her way out of this mess, loved it when Mark told her that she couldn't just keep getting rid of doctors, and that Susan was a done deal because of Weaver's mess of late.

Amen to that. Damn. Don't we just love to hate Keri? And I agree that the best line was "I would never touch Luka's cookies!" *sideways look to Abbey*. Go Carter!

Think Mallucci might be sticking around.....wonder if we might be hearing about a wrongful termination lawsuit against her (or something like that) in the near future.
But to this episode. Best one in a while.

I thought it was a great eps but like everyone else I was wonder if Deb and Dave are off the show or not.
I heard before the season that they were thinking about writing out Dr. Chen, but because of the Green and Benton were leaving that they were going to develop she character more.
Carter Rocks
The only thing that you I would have to conplain about ER is that they have a lot of great characters and actor, but just not enough time to show them

garsh, last nite was full of excellent shows.
anyway, as to the question of ming na leaving. newsday reported that she would leave but then come back later on in the season so there's a good chance that she's coming back. let's hope so. cutest doctor in the ER IMO
and i just have to say, reese benton has got to be one of the cutest little kids around.

My "respect meter" for Weaver continues to bottom out. What a trashy character. Ramano's a complete ass, but I'd much rather have him as a friend anyday - he doesn't put up any facade so at least you know what you are getting.

I think they'll start to give romano a more human side before the year is up. He'll be the character you love to hate, cause i see them taking weaver in the direction of "the character you hate." You have a point, at least with robert you know what you're getting. He may be rash, but he's genuine in a sick way.
I don't like the Rodger/Peter storyline cause its too intense. A custody battle between a stepdad and a dad would be too melodramatic even for ER... i mean that sounds like something the practice would try.
I think Deb will ultimatly stay. At least i hope so. I think to lose her off the show would be as bad as losing Lucy. Have they even had Carter and Benton talk ONCE this season??? I hope maluci is seen again, even if just in the investigation. I'd love to see him say somethign that gets weaver pinched.
TV GUIDE SUMMARIES

On her first day back, Lewis puts her new job in jeopardy after clashing with Kerry over a pregnant teen who may be deported if her folks learn of her condition. Millicent: Frances Sternhagen. Kerry: Laura Innes. Greene: Anthony Edwards.
11/01
Supplies and Demands
60 min.
Carter and Lewis (Sherry Stringfield) race to stop a possible outbreak after two college students test positive for meningitis; a specialist shadows Corday to find the root of the infection that has killed four of her elderly patients; Abby has a hard time letting Luka go, especially once his enigmatic lady friend (Julie Delpy) scores a job at the hospital; and Benton squares off with Roger over his expanded---and irritating----role in Reese's life. Roger: Vondie Curtis Hall. Reese: Matthew Watkins. Jackie: Khandi Alexander. Bjerke: Lucy Rodriguez. Rachel: Hallee Hirsch.

To Malucci & Chen - Good riddance (I just wish Abby would join you!)
Carter is still the best character & Romano has been a close second for more than a year. Romano definitely has the best lines in every episode.
Greene & Benton - I wish you both would stay but will not cry when you leave.
Susan - Go on a diet & get a new haircut.
Weaver - Still a great character & is always interesting. Give up the lesbian lie & move on.
What the hell happened to the big guy from Parker Lewis Can't Lose? He was great. I remembered awhile back he got in trouble but it seems like he just vanished. Crabby old man who took his place can be pretty funny from time to time though.

As for Susan, I'm glad she's back. I was upset when she left, although she looks different now.
as for Dr. Chen: didn't she leave the show once already just to come back a season or two later. Leave, stay, leave, Make up your mind already

Didn't he shoot a rocket launcher through the hospital halls? After he got in trouble for that they put him on night duty (apparently the shift that takes place after the regular cast goes home) I think I saw him once after that, and then he just dissappeared.

nothing wrong with that in my book.
I enjoyed this episode, but weaver is just losing control, she is digging herself a bigger hole every episode.
Romano is certainly getting to be one of my fave characters, and I really like Carter. He is an excellent Dr. and everyone likes him, well maybe except luka who will be jealous.
I can't believe julie delpy is going to be a regular character, although when I saw her in the bar I knew she would be as she is to big an actress for a small cameo like that.
Anyone else notice when mark was working on the patient with Elizabeth and Susan was outside that the other person in the room was Chuny, all 3 of whom mark was / is involved with.
The one thing they are missing now is interns/students
I mean that's where carter came from, and deb, and lucy and some others, and as we were reminded several times, it is a teaching hospital...
