What exactly is DIRECT TV ?
as an aussie i have no idea what this is
the WWF's No Mercy PPV is not being shown on Direct TV and some people aren't happy, that's all i know!
is it Cable ?
is it Pay TV ?
or what ?

Imagine you're sitting at home, and DirecTV sends down one of their 'posion pills' and your systems, which you legally subscribe to, are hit and you are without satellite for 48 hours ...

I have it and like it.
Des it's like kinda like Sky in teh UK but not really.
It is a satellite service which amazingly is not super popular in the US, in the uk/europe almost every house has a dish not many people have cable or would want it.
It rocks I have had it since April with no problems and with my tivo it makes it even better.

It is an evil Satellite service provider with rude customer service people. Of course they were nice and offered me free program when I called them to cancel and told them "I've moved to the Dish Network". 
No problems with Dish so far
