Thought it was pretty good. Kim Delaney did a good job. The show also had a lot of people I like, like Munch's partner from Homicide (Kyle Secor) and Will Friedman from Boiler Room. Will definitely watch it next week.

Darn it all! Another show to watch - I have no time as it is!
I actually really liked this show, too. Add to that the fact that Dish still isn't carrying NBC in the bay area, and won't until 1/1/2002 (which kept me from seeing Crossing Jordan yesterday) and I think Philly will be one of the few new shows being added to my tv viewing habits this season.
(Going to my moms twice a week to tape l&o, west wing, friends and will and grace is enough for me - no new nbc shows this season
)

WarriorPrincess, Crossing Jordan was pretty cool ... you should make it three nights
I too really enjoyed Philly. Like Crossing Jordan on Monday, it has some holes, but the main characters have enough chemistry and charisma to carry them through these first episodes. Kim Delaney is very magnetic, even though she walks like a duck
Some of the show felt a little too "TV" for me, so I doubt I'll be sitting in the corner crying for the characters, but I certainly was entertained and will keep watching until they give me a reason not to.
