I hate it.
I can't watch shows like that - you have to watch every week to just knowing what's going on later. I'm too busy for that.
Just the reason why I'm not watching 24.

As for "Survivor," I too hate it with every Fibar of my existence. Each week, I tuned in and rolled my eyes at the stupidity of it all. If I couldn't watch an episode and had to tape it, I would kick myself for even bothering. Then they showed all of the episodes again and I was tortured once more as I now watched the show daily!!! Then I bought the DVD for full MSRP (I went to Suncoast so I could get it immediately), and each time I watch the DVD I regret that purchase more and more, I tell you what.
Ditto "Survivor 2." And I'm sure I'll hate "Survivor 3" when that comes on and I watch it.

I simply don't care for it. If I wanted to watch people be scheming, coniving, backstabbing jerks, I would simply pay more attention at work.
But the truth is, I made fun of it. I thought the idea was stupid. I tried to watch it once during the first season and simply didn't care for it at all. My family watched the season premiere of the second season after the Super Bowl and I found myself shaking my head at how unreal these people were. It's just all so fakey and cheesy to me that I never have been able to watch even a little bit of another episode unless I had a huge supply of crackers nearby.
To those of you who are going to watch it. More power to you. I just have better things to do with my time and more orignial and exciting programming to watch when I do have time to sit down in front of the television.

the ONLY way i'll watch Sur Afrika is if word gets out that
one of their stupid contestants get mauled by a tiger or something.
CBS is running big bank with this crap. they don't even have to pay actors.
It's sad to say that "The Dumbing-Down of America" has landed.
We are all officially TV-brain dead.
