Crossing Jordan

Damn, that is one fine looking woman. The show was not as bad as I thought it would be, but I was kind hoping for that killer guy to hand around the show a little longer. It's too bad, he would have made a great addition to the cast IMO. Plus he's already got so much experience on cop shows like Homicide. But again, she is just way too hot!

I liked the 1st epsiode. And will continue watching for a few
weeks to see the shows progress. Miguel Ferrer's character
(head of the department). I think will be interesting to see
if he melts down or can get it together. Her father (Ken Howard)
is a nice addition. There is good supporting cast.
Good writing for the series will be the key though.
Will be interesting to see if this series can survive.
I thought it was little slow in a few parts. And I really did not
care for Kyle Secors character. He was ok in Homicide.
But he has had his time playing a cop. And I am glad he
was just a guest for this week. But I do agree, Jill has never
looked better. And she was always my favorite on L&O.

Average script, but it doesn't matter. Jill has more than enough charisma to carry this character. And the chemistry between her and Ken Howard is very strong. It may take a few weeks to get its legs, but I think it'll make it. I certainly hope so, because I must agree ... she looked really good.

I liked the first show, and I liked seeing Kyle Secor again. Yea, he has played out the whole cop thing but if I closed my eyes real tight I could imagine it was Homicide all over again.

I briefly saw that on the screen and didn't know what to make of it.

A brief search on the Internet shows no entery in IMDb, but this site says "Mahershalalhashbaz" is the longest word in the Bible (in the book of Isaiah). Here's another reference: http://www.studylight.org/dic/sbd/view.cgi?number=T2797

Kyle Secor....it was almost Homicide again when he showed up at the crime scene in a duster.

Ravi Kapoor...Dr. Sid was awesome on Gideon's Crossing, actually the whole group of doctors was...kind of an oddball, barely used.

Jill!!!! She is damn sexy.
Not outstanding, but I'll give it a few more episodes before I make the final judgement.

I like what I see so far. I was afraid that it would be a straight rip of CSI, but it was different yet the same. I did like the whole"try to recreate the crime"thing. But I can see that getting old if they do it for every eps

I loved Jill in Law and Order. She was my fave ADA

Is this show like a good looking female version of "Quincy"?

What really surprised me was that in the overnights it did a 12.5/19. Essentially tied MNF and kicked Family Law's butt.

No way did I expect those numbers.

And yes, she is a knockout. The first time I met her, I was blown away by her looks; L&O just did not do her justice. For some reason, on L&O she appears shorter and much plainer than she really is. CJ shows her in a more physically realistic light.....

L&O has a history of plaining-down women. Angie Harmon & Carey lowell are both good-looking but none of that really shows through on Law & Order.

Very dull....I don't think I'll be watching next week. Was her father the same guy who used to be the coach on "The White Shadow"?

Yes ... I hear they'll all be making guest appearances ... Salami, Thrope, Rutherford, Reese, Cooledge, Hayward ... maybe even GoGo and Wardell.

It was okay I would rate the episode a 6, I know they were trying to set the ground rules, but the script was completely predictable, or at least you know what's coming next.

When her dad is sleeping and she comes in and she talked to him a little it was obvious that he had moved on to the next stage of his life.

I did like the fact that it was in widescreen though.

I will tune in next week and see how it play's out.

The one thing that is just silly is that she moves back to beantown, and immediately everyone in the city wants to jump her bones...

That's not silly ... I wanted to jump her bones before the show even aired.
