Way to slow after the first two episodes.
I realize that character development, etc. takes time, especially in a series, but I'm afraid this won't be around long enough for true devlopment to take place.
Also, I'm having a hard time envisioning where the story lines can go. Granted we have the missing person angle and the ploce chief's daughter angle...but I can't see where else they can go.

I hope this picks up steam because it has potential Not every show is a hit right out of the box, and Lou Diamond isn't much of a draw. There is a good supporting cast - lots of cute girls, Tim Matheson, Sharon Lawrence (Sipowitz' wife) as a hot older broad but I'll watch it for Mia Kirshner. If you haven't seen her schoolgirl stripper act in Atom Egoyan's "Exotica" you are missing a treat as well as one of the best movies of the '90's.

I'd put this show as a cross between Twin Peaks and The Kindred. It looks like it's going to take a couple more eps. to really take shape, but I'll be watching.

Wolf Lake on UPN ..a great show, but...
I hate that techno music they blast! Couldn't they have gotten somebody like Angelo Baldamenti to do an eerie score or something like that?

I believe UPN is not going to air reruns of episodes 2-5, at least not now (I suppose they may later). I think over the next four weeks they are going to show episodes 6-9 which were not aired by CBS. I think only nine episodes were made.

Anywhere I can get synopses of the missing episodes to know what is going on if that is indeed the case?

Okay then. Since they skipped around, I am confused. Just what is the deal with the town? Is everyone a werewolf or just a few select citizens? Also, if they are all wolves, then why don't they all transform at night?

Does anyone know UPN's plans? Are they going to show only the finished episodes? Or are newer episodes going to be filmed? I missed the original airings and I hoped to catch them all on UPN, but they skipped over about 5 episodes. And if the episodes left don't complete the story what's the sense in getting involved with the show?

Wolf Lake?
Does anyone remember this short-lived series that aired back in 2001? They are showing all nine episodes on Chiller today(2-15). If you missed the first 4 episodes they are re-airing them overnight. It starred Lou Diamond Phillips,Bruce McGill,Tim Matheson and Sharon Lawrence. There was also an un-aired pilot. Not sure if its being shown on Chiller. Looks like a cool show that was dropped before CBS ever gave it a chance. Its never had an official dvd release as far as I know.

Re: Wolf Lake?
Sc-fi was showing this too. The pilot aired during the original network broadcast but it must be copyrighted seperately and not included in syndication. Sci-fi never showed it. Sci-fi never showed the Timecop pilot either when they were rerunning it.
