shows cancelled after WTC tragedy?

in the UK they postponed a show about Murders on BBC and E4 also postponed this weeks showing of The West Wing. shame as it's a great show and might actually give people confidence imo.

which other shows have been postponed or cancelled after the WTC collapse?

It seems every show on basic tv is cancelled for the night. Does anyone think they will be shown at a later time or possibly tomorrow?

Unless it's obscure cable, I'd be very surprised to see anything on TV tonight other than the news.

That's what you get for being a damn dirty ape.

Leno and Letterman are also cancelled tonight. I don't think much will be on at all. Scanning through my cable channels we have Oxygen, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, ESPN, a myriad of public access channels, and that's about it.

Anyone know if prime-time will be back on tonight?? I'm hooked on that "Amazing Race" on CBS.

I'd heard that "24" (one my most anticipated shows of the new season) may be postponed for retooling. Apparently a terrorist blows up an airplane in one episode.

NBC Postpones Fall Season By A Week

Arnold and Spiderman Movie Delayed, "Big Trouble" postponed, ABC Re-airing of "The Peacemaker" replaced with "Hope Floats", FOX replaced "Independence Day" with "That 70's Show" and "Mrs. Doubtfire", as well as replacing the X-Files movie with "Nine Months"

WTC and Washington DC has really affected Hollywood.

BBC has now cancelled this week's Seinfeld episodes for some reason. maybe because it's set in NYC, but they show them in the middle of the night on their least watched channel. and Seinfeld doesn't really show many landmarks etc of NYC. i doubt anyone would have had an objection to a minority channel showing an NYC-based show in the middle of the night!!

I believe that Leno, Letterman, Conan, Maher, Kilborn will be off the air the rest of the week ...or "in the dark" as i read earlier.

Does anyone remember what the plot of the first episode of The Lone Gunmen was?

...

There was a plot to crash a plane into the World Trade Center.

How much do you bet this episode will never be seen again?

</small>I set my machine to record them and was a little peeved; particularly given how poorly the show has been treated over here, slotwise.

I think it was postponed because of the extended Newsnight shows; easier just to drop a short show then reschedule everything (Open University etc).

Then again, there is that episode where Jerry calls in a bomb threat to get George out of work...
