Jamie Fox sucked. Hate the egotistical bastard anyway. Also too-mean-spirited. Fortunately, he didn't appear very much after the first hour. I hope MTV realizes they hired a dud as well as an A-hole. And I thought Andy Dick would be obnoxious. In small doses such as his Daphne Aguilera get-up, he can be funny.

Triumph was too hilarious. He would make the ideal host.

Will Ferrell is good but the climb wasn't very unexpected. Not all that funny.

Britney Spears looked great. The mic is ridiculous when it is pretty obvious that she is lip-synching to the entire song. And the song is the worst one yet. Maybe this will be the final nail in her coffin.

I didn't know MJ would be making an appearance. Nice to see him even if he was only dancing.

None of the performances stood out although I enjoyed Missy's "Get your freak on." I don't care for Alicia Key's "Fallin." Nothing special about "Pop."

OMG how could you not like Alica Keys. She is so talented. Did you hear her play the Piano????

Yes, she can play Beethoven. Many other pianists can do that too. Alicia Keys may be a very skilled pianist and a good singer (I haven't heard any other song) but I don't care for that single.

big whoppa, if you listen closely to Britney's performance you cannot once hear the audience say anything. To me it sounds like MTV overdubbed her performance with the real song just so we can hear it clearer, that's why it looks like she's lip synching.

That must explain why MTV overdubbed the comment when the show was rerun last weekend. Too bad. It was the one funny moment of the entire evening.
