Shazam! on TVLand Today - 8/3

Just happen to be looking through my Tivo for shows to record and noticed the listing. 5:00 PM & 5:30 PM (for me at least)

For what it's worth

The 70's show with the talking picture of the Gods? Cool stuff.

The schedule at the TV Land website says the UFS Winner is playing at that time (whatever that is), I hope your TiVO is right and it is Shazam! That would be very cool. Thank you for the heads up!

That's 5pm Eastern...

So, did anyone catch it? Thanks to this post I caught the 2nd half hour. Damn was it terrible. Not as exciting as I remembered it (since I was only 5 when it was originally shown). Pretty funny that Danny Patridge was a guest star in that particular episode.

Thanks again for the post! I really had not seen the show since it was on many moons ago. Remember the Shazam/Isis Power Hour? Good times. I hope TVLand will start showing stuff like this more often.

I always thought that a cool idea for the Cartoon Network would be to show a 4 or 5 hour block of Saturday morning cartoons & shows that were all from the same season & shown in their original time slot order.

I watched both and thought "Paul's Ultimate Fan Hour" could have picked much better episodes from the series to air.

The 1st one featured Jackson Bostwick as Captain Marvel who imho played the role better than John Davey (who was in the 2nd episode shown).

I'd certainly welcome seeing both series on TVLand.

Dammit, I zoned and forgot about it. I hope they do air these, Saturday morning would be ideal! They could start airing those classic Saturday Morning shows of the past! They have aired a few on Saturday and Sunday mornings (like the Bugaloos), I'd like to see it continue.

Oooh. Well, that's only because Cappy is magic, and Supes is vulnerable to magic.
