Murder in Small Town X

Amazing! Truly Amazing!
What astonishes me is the poise of these characters. Don't they realize ... there's a murderer on the loose?!?! And they've probably spoken to him!!! A murderer!!!

well for blair witch meets survivor it wasn't completely wretched but the first 15 mins was chaotic and poorly edited. The only thing that really worked for me were the cams strapped to the chests of the contestants,
It was kind of freaky not knowing which was going to get killed but then all you get is a scream and cut to the non dead one returning.
This show is fairly far from compelling but is more watchable than weakest link
Millionaire
survivor
put together.

Stupid... The voting element is completely unneeded. The poor actors who play the townspeople were not very good. What amazes me is how the contestants (in editing and for real) were taking it so seriously. That one woman said to her children something like' If Mommy doesn’t make it home, I love you.' Please people, get a grip. I'm too nuts into criminology anyway, and basically, the investigator was telling them exactly what they had to look for, so it was kind of pathetic. Pretty much he'll just steer them everywhere they need to go, and they'll get caught up in petty squabbling, getting scared for no real reason, and I wont be tuning in for that.

The show has potential, but they need to do away with the MTV-style editing. After all is said and done I would love to see a behind the scenes special showing interviews with the actors who play the townspeople...it would be kind of like that scene in The Game where Michael Douglas goes "backstage."
A better show with a similiar premise is The Mole, since the villain in that game was one of the players, and not some actor.

Good show, good fun. Perhaps they should stab the contestents with fake knives and blood stains, just to freak em out a little more. HAHAHA>

I liked it... actually it's the first show in years that I consider "following" in the coming weeks. I don't watch TV.

I'm convinced that all the contestants are actors....and bad ones too.
This looks like a worked-reality show.....a bad worked-reality show.
I turned it off after the first 10 minutes.

I thought it looked like it could have some potential. I still like the MTV show, Fear, a little better. This one seems like it'll remain better than watching "Lost" whenever that one begins.

I mean is that it?
Did it get cancelled already?
I know this past Sunday they re-aired it. But, I don't believe I saw when it is going to be on every week.

I think it would be much better if they didn't have that cop guy telling them what to do. Let them figure it out on their own. On the other hand, this would require much better actors be employed for the townfolk.

This show is REALLY STUPID.
With that said I'll probably still watch.
It's dumb how they treat it as SO REAL, I may DIE tonight?!
Instead of I may lose the game tonight.
And again the actors suck, the contestants ONLY COUNT on clues GIVEN TO THEM AND POINTED OUT BY THE HOST.
So if they are getting close to the killer the HOST will just point out a misleading piece of evidence they'll dwell on.
If they are WAY OFF BASE he'll point them in the right direction.
It's not like they find anything on their own!
ANd all the actors won't give up anything they haven't been told to, so I don't see much of a point besides MAKE FRIENDS don't get voted to go ala Survivor. And don't split up and be alone at anytime. And then the "mystery murder" will solve itself by the HOST FOR YOU!
