Fox's "Reality" TV

Can we please just stop with the "Reality" tag line on so many shows.

I am not sure what "reality" programming executives for Fox live in but there is nothing real about scripted edited poorly made programming.

"Reality Television" is a trend (hopefully) that tv networks are doing. it'll eventually go away (hopefully). most of reality shows are just copycats of Big Brother.

Until people stop watching, they'll never go away. They're cheap to make (1/2 million dollars to the winner and have the audience phone premium 1900 numbers). No cast costs. Sometimes they don't even need a great amount of crew. Big Brother sets up a couple of live feeds and has a couple of people "mix" the thing. They make buckets from the show itself and don't even have to worry about making money from the advertisements.

I reckon they'll stop about the same time infomercials stop.
