Raw is War 7/16/00 (AUSTIN 3:16!!!)

Well this was a great Raw for me. Austin finally lost that silly a$$ attitude and returned as his old kick a$$ self. He gave about 6-7 stunners, it was great. Also, ive always liked Kurt Angle but lately i cant help but like him more. Hes been kicking major a$$ lately and being real bada$$.

By any chance, do you think that just maybe was an objective of the writers?

Too bad they didn't end it prior to threatening poor Freddie Blassie. Damn pencil neck geeks!

Well I haven't watched wrestling in a little over 2 years & I just started watching again this week for 1 reason. My friends said that the "Whole F'n Show" Rob Van Dam was coming to the WWF. He was barely on Raw but if WWF does not make this guy a superstar I will never watch wrestling again. Granted I doubt Vince would even let him do half the moves in the ring he is capable of, he could easily be as big as Sean Michaels in the ring, winning the crowd over with his skills. But I doubt this will ever happen as Vince never lets the great talents take center stage, he much prefers the boring same old hacks like Austin & the Undertaker to do their same old routing every single week.

as posted in the Other forum:

They really screwed up the pppv's main event. The purpose of the ppv shouldve been to answer "what if" questions... to see what its like to see two people fight for the first time cuz they were in separate companies.... like living out a fantasy league.

But if Jericho is in vs a Dudley...
Or Kane is in vs Rhyno...
WE'VE SEEN ALL THAT FOR THE PAST YEAR

By the way,. wwf.com is now referring to Shane and Steph's combined group as WECW

I was very moved when they wheeled in Freddie Blassie and he gave a stirring speech and then stood up. Didn't something like that happen in Pearl Harbor with Jon Voight as FDR?
