it came out ~1984 or so. all i remember is that courtney cox (circa tombody phase) was in it, there was a frozen guy who loved candy bars, a guy who could run fast and shoot electricity and a big tall guy who could shrink himself. anybody know if this is on vhs? or is it just in the tv series graveyard?

sigh . . . i think i liked that show if my memory holds up

Almost as obscure as The Powers of Matthew Star.

I remember this show. I think it was on Friday nights? The tall guy who could shrink also played the Predator & Harry from Harry & the Hendersons. The movie pilot was put on VHS. I've seen it for rent. It's probably out of print now. The Sci-Fi channel may have played it awhile ago. You might want to check their schedule occcasionally - or even send an e-mail. They have daytime marathons of old shows like Manimal & Wonder Woman so it's possible they'll have a Misfits of Science day.

TV Land had both of these for a short while. They were on during some dreaded Sunday at 7am timeslot. These were great shows ... not as great as My Secret Identity and Small Wonder and Out of This World, but hey, they can't all be the best.

I used to love Misfits of Science. It had Willy from Alf on it, how could you not? Sci-Fi channel played it for awhile back to back with My Secret Identity.

This actually used to be my favorite show. I thought the fast electrical guy (Johnny Lightning?)was the coolest.

It was cancelled the same day that all the channels on my dial (remember those?) were rearranged by the cable company, and I was convinced that Misfits had somehow been lost in the shuffle. BTW it was replaced here by reruns of Little House on the Praire IIRC. The ultimate insult.

Ah, memories. I believe that I subsisted on Misfits of Science and Dukes of Hazzard for the majority of my formative years' friday nights.

I remember an episode where Johnny was trashing a eletrical plant while singing Johnny B. Goode, I forgot all about Courtney Cox being in it.
