Did anybody besides me watch this show? As a fan of the game, I was mildly curious as to how it would come across on screen. I thought it was mildly entertaining but, as much as I'm glad to see Paul "Pee-Wee" Whatshisface back in front of the camera, I thought he was trying a little too hard. He just came across as annoyingly "cutesy" to me. The $2,000,000 question was humorous...the first time. It seems that they're gonna do that every show, though, unless they come up with some different gags. Something tells me this show won't last long.

There were a couple instances when I laughed out loud in both episodes, which is more than I can say for any network sitcom recently.
Still, it wasn't something even remotely approaching "appointment" television. The non-quiz part of the show--the general script--seemed pretty flat and tame, although the question writers were pretty good...

Only saw the first one, got the other on tape for later. I like the way it trashes game shows, but then, I've always liked trashing establishment.
The best was when he took away money from the contestants to pay the band. Loved that. But I don't think there's enough to keep it fresh. I mean, just how much schtick can you do with the concept? Can't be more than to last maybe a half dozen shows before we start seeing the same gag over and over??
But then, how long did the Gong Show last?

My favorite is "You're my Question 4, forevermore, I love you -- my Question 4: Question 4, the question that cares."

It didn't seem that funny, and it felt like Peewee was trying way too hard. I didn't even bother to finish watching the first episode. It just made me want to play the real game, which is much funnier and faster paced.
