For those of you too lazy to buy or rent the DVD like me, remember that the Dune miniseries will be making a repeat on the 12th (next Tuesday, if I'm not mistaken) on SCI-FI. I heard mixed things about it, but the special effects look amazing for a made-for-tv movie, so I'm gonna check it out.
Now, if only they'd get cranking on that Pern TV series that's supposed to be out soon!

So, should I watch off of satellite on the 12th, or rent it on DVD?
I still have it taped (bad quality, duh) from the first airing and never got around to watching it. (Trying to find time around a 10month old.)

Well, certainly if you want the best quality, rent it. I'm just gonna tape it and watch it for free. If I like it, then I'll buy it, but no sense renting it when it's not even in 5.1 audio. The difference between DVD picture and my cable reception isn't THAT fantastic to warrant me spending the $3.50 for the rental.
