They're slated for 7 - 8 pm on Thursdays, Fox.

Against Friends.

And Survivor.

I know Fox has to have SOME programming on, but why sacrifice these two promising shows (at least I've heard The Tick is promising)?

The Family Guy is GREAT!!! Why they stopped airing it in the first place beats me. Better than both The Simpsons(this year only), and the Texas one, drawing a blank.

Well, no competition for me, since I could care less about Survivor or Friends. Can't wait to see The Tick.

The network has never been behind The Family Guy, I was under the impression that it drew decent, if not impressive, ratings.

Like I said in another thread, maybe Seth McFarlane ran over Ruperts kid. I certainly hope they can see their way towards releasing the episodes (and any untelevised ones) in a DVD boxset someday.

Well Peter, youve only got a couple of hours left. If you're going to pull a party out of your ass, you might wanna stand up

wait that is if Survivor is going to on this fall. I don't think they will be on until after the superbowl. Ah who knows.

I will just have someone tape the shows for me.

I cannot wait for The Family Guy again. This was one of the funniest shows on TV ever since its after-superbowl-special a few years ago.
I believe that one of the funniest moments on TV is when the Kool-Aid man busts through the courtroom wall and yells "Oh, yeah!"...great stuff!

It doesn't look good for these two shows the way FOX is placing them. Thursday is the toughest night to fight over. You have CBS with the survivor line up, NBC with friends, ABC with whatever they put on(they really don't have a strong thursday), you have UPN with SMACK DOWN, and now fox wants to put a total unknown and a show who they really don't support all thta much. Looks like they just threw them on as fodder for the fight.

And since FOX executives have said before that this will be a "last stand" for Family guy......well, I think we already know the outcome!

Good news, maybe - I read somewhere once that one of the would-be-networks (UPN? WB?) would probably pick the show up if it is officially cancelled by FOX.

Anything is better than that 'Baby Blues' and 'Bob Oblong' crud they have.

They'd knock over their mamma to sign up 'Family Guy'.

I think this is a bad time slot for The Family Guy, I love this show, but I watch Friends and Survivor as well, so I Replay TV one and watch another.

Which one to drop?

If they are both slated for the 7-8 time slot on thursdays then how will it be facing Friends OR Survivor? which come on at 8:00 pm?

I believe that is 7-8 p.m. Central Time. I don't know about Survivor, but Friends starts at 7 p.m. Central/8 p.m. Eastern.

I must be induced in the eastern time zone. Since I do live on the east coast.....

Guess I got it good.
