What are some tv shows which just seem stupid and cheesy having rewatched them as an adult but were ultra cool when you were a kid ?

One and one only came to mind when I read this thread title and that would be "Electro-Woman and Dyna-Girl." Not sure how many other people saw this, but it was two crime fighting women and was on in the early 80s or late 70s. I loved it as a kid and thought one of the women were cute. Then I caught it a couple years ago late at night on Nickelodeon and I laughed at how incredibly horrible it really was. Anybody else ever catch that show? I think it used to alternate with "Dr. Shrinker" and some other ones.

Dukes of Hazzard
Chips
A-Team

Actually most of the shows from the 80's. I checked out some of the reruns on TV and I can't believe I watched this crap. Things look different when you are a kid.

The A-Team?!?!? You better watch it (pun semi-intended)!

My initial thought is MacGuyver. In the 80s, it was by far the coolest show. Everyone talked about it all the time (even if they never saw an episode). It was (and still is) a cultural phenomenon. But watching the show the past few years ... wow ... it's really bad. At least the humor of an A-Team is everlasting.

Monty Pythons Flying Circus was so much funnier than it is now.

I'd agree with Dukes of Hazard and A-Team but, CHIP's still rocks!

Yeah, I remember those. It was part of the Sid & Marty Krofft Supershow along with Ghost Busters (not the movie,eh) Sigmund the Sea Monster, Bugaloos, HR Puffnstuff, Far Out Space Nuts, The Lost Saucer, Wonder Bug and Land of the Lost.

Random Trivia about these shows:
Electra Woman & Dyna Girl are coming back, like Land of the Lost did in the early 90's. Markie Post is playing Electra woman.

The guy who played Uncle Jack in Land of the Lost plays a minister in the new Pearl Harbor movie.

Yeah, I used to love them now. Can't stand 'em now. Not even for a laugh, they're hard to watch.

Scooby Doo. I can't believe how bad that cartoon is now and I used to love it.

Knight Rider was a good answer. I LOVED the show as a kid, but boy is that thing CHEESY!

I disagree about A-Team though. I still enjoy watching reruns of that. Except for the episode with Boy George. What were they thinking?

Welcome Back, Kotter
Batman
Gilligan's Island
Happy Days
The Monkees

I absolutely adored the above shows when I was a lad, but now they are unwatchable. One of the few shows from my childhood that I can still stomach is "The Brady Bunch".

Almost ALL the shows I loved as a child look incredibly childish and dated now:

A-Team
Knight Rider
Airwolf
Star Trek: TNG
Batman

Only Babylon 5, X-Files (most of it anyway) and Married with Children still stand up when faced with adult scrutiny. Even old Simpsons seem quite hit-and-miss (mainly series 1 & 2).

Thunder Cats
Full House
Perfect Strangers
Family Matters

Knight Rider I can still stomach. But did anyone see that new series they tried to bring out a few years ago with that flying command center and a squad of talking cars? That pushed it too far.

I also watched Air Wolf religously when I was a kid. What were we al thinking? Jan Michael Vincent & Ernest Borgnine? The pain, the pain...
