Anybody know what ever happened to the TV game show "The Weakest Link" with that very annoying British woman for a host who loves to say paraphasing here "you are the weakest link.Goodbye". Did this TV game show go off the airwaves(I hope) or put on hiatus? Anybody know what happened to this game show?

Next Week it airs Monday & Tuesday; though Monday night is the regular time slot.
The Show's been renewed for airing on Sunday & Monday. Looks like it will be around for a bit.

Rather than resurrect the earliest discussion thread....
.... I've just seen one of the US editions that was aired tonight in the UK.
Well. I knew that the prizemoney was higher; most winners in the UK walk away with £2000 to £3000. But even the questions seemed easier!
And, sorry, the contestants were certainly whinier!! Having the questions repeated to give themselves thinking time was pretty lame; selfish, really, given the time constraints.
There was one woman, (Kira?), who got all her questions wrong then really moaned on being voted off; apparently her questions were more difficult....
.... When it came to the final round the loser actually said she had been cheated! Sorry, but she knew the rules: she could be strongest for the entire game and still lose the pot on just one question at the end!
I forget his name (John?) but the shaven-headed goatee-sporting camp guy who won was one of the better-behaved overall.
Anne Robinson's delivery is slightly different on the US show. As some mentioned on the earlier thread, she does seem to spit out "weakestlink" all as one word. I think that must have been down to the US producer as she doesn't do it here in the UK and it adds nothing.
As with the UK show I had to keep flipping channels. The show generally does annoy me: it's not just the US version!
