At least they still have the reruns on USA. Who knows maybe they will let them do some TV movies or even at least a 2hr finale that could tie up some loose ends. Dare to dream.

$19 million is not bad.

More than 10 years after Nash Bridges went off the air, it's star is finally getting the payday he says he was due.
Don Johnson finally resolved his dispute with Rysher Entertainment, receiving a $19 million after more than two years of court battles over profits for the series.
In 2010, a court awarded Johnson $50 million, but in October, the California Court of Appeals cut the award to $15 million. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Johnson has signed an acknowledgement that he is satisfied with the $19 million, which Rysher wired to his production company at the end of January.
Johnson sued Rysher, claiming his 1995 contract entitled him to half-ownership of the series if it lasted at least 66 episodes. Nash Bridges was on air from 1996 to 2001, and aired 122 episodes.
A jury in the 2010 trial sided with Johnson, awarding him $23.2 million; then, the judge awarded $28.5 million in interest. The appellate court cut the amount down, charging that the judge and jury had improperly determined the amount of interest.
Rysher is owned by Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner's 2929 Entertainment.

Re: Nash Bridges Cancelled ?
When I read this thread title, if you had put a gun to my head and asked me if Nash Bridges was cancelled 10+ years ago or if it was on as recently as last year, I would not have been able to come up with a comfortable answer.

No. I thought my thread was bumped to tell me about a reunion movie. Thanks for the crummy VDay present.
Maybe Tarantino could reignite his career since he did Django Unchained and Bucky Larsen a couple years ago.
