Does anyone actually watch this piece of crap?

I've tried to watch it a couple of times. I'm surprised it's still on.

...a show that has had it's moments [I thought the show with the penquins was very funny] but probably won't last another 2 seasons.

And for this we lose Beavis and Butthead?

IMHO it's one of the absolute BEST shows on TV.

I think Futurama can be really good some episodes and not so good other episodes. the problems i see with the show is that it has some complicated plots and rarely knows how to end itself and the last segment spends its time trying to wrap up the plot leaving little time for jokes... anyway I have laughed just as hard at futurama as i have at episodes of simpsons or king of the hill

If you are referring to the Simpsons in its current state, then that is not saying much, it may even be an insult to Futurama. If you are referring to the Simpsons' glory days, then I would have to disagree with you.

And I don't like King of the Hill either.

I actually think Futurama is pretty funny, a lot better than the last few seasons of the Simpsons have been (of course the Simpsons will never be cancelled because the "fans" will always say the show is funny regardless of how stupid it has become).

The one last night was pretty funny.

Lui-bot: "I will always remember you... MEMORY DELETED."

I almost died laughing.

. . . . . consistently funnier than the Simpsons!!

Those who resist Futurama should be doomed to being sat upon by the Comic-Book Guy on a sweaty, humid August afternoon.

Yeah, yeah, because having a low intelligence and poor education makes one SO cool. (Meaning those who call anyone "geeks")

so......what crack have you guys been smoking? it reminds me of the old days of the simpsons. i laugh falling on the floor at just about every episode. this show is simply perfect. it started fairly slow for me. i didn't much like the first episodes, but then it grew on me and i make it a point to watch each episode.

futurama rules

I'll have to go with the "love the show" crowd. When I entered this thread, I actually thought it was going to be a "praise Futurama" thread. I was surprised that someone actually hated it. The writing on that show is just so smart. It's not dumb comedy like a lot of the animated shows on TV now. I can watch episodes over and over again and find new stuff to laugh at. It's hard to catch everything the first time around. Give me Futurama over Simpsons or King of the Hill anyday.

I wanted to like the show. I caught the first season but didn't find all that much to laugh about. Bunch of uninteresting, oddball characters IMO.

I thought so too, then I started watching again recently. OMG it is friggin hilarious. If you like simpsons, family guy, then you will love Futurama!
