What happened to the live action version of the Tick?

Sorry if someone else has already asked this... But back in Jan I remember seeing a commercial for a live action version of the Tick... It had the guy who played Putty (Elaine's boyfriend) on Seinfeld as the Tick. I thought it said coming in March. But I havent heard anything about it after that

If anyone knows please tell me

I saw the pilot for it (you can find it on the net), and I can't imagine Fox actually turning it into a series. Don't get me wrong, I know pilots usually aren't the greatest, and I am a fan of the Tick, but I just can't imagine it turning into a very good series, and the only acceptable time slot for it would, in my opinion, be paired with The Lone Gunman.
